500 users and growing: iiE and Stickerbook reach milestone

Since introducing Stickerbook to our membership programme in 2025, more than 500 users from the iiE Community have signed up to the platform. Free for iiE members, the tool is helping organisations encourage sustainable habits, improve engagement, and make climate action more accessible across the workplace.

iiE’s partnership with Stickerbook

As part of iiE membership, organisations of all sizes can access Stickerbook to support behavioural change and employee participation alongside wider environmental goals. Activity completed through the platform can also count towards CPD hours required by many organisations.

While many organisations have strategies and targets in place, encouraging meaningful engagement can often be the bigger challenge. Stickerbook helps make workplace action feel more accessible through short videos, interactive quizzes, and practical content designed to engage employees, without the jargon.

“Reaching this milestone speaks not only to the strength of our partnership with Stickerbook, but to the growing appetite for microlearning as a powerful way to inspire change. Together, we’re making it easier for more people to build understanding, feel motivated, and recognise the positive difference they can make every day.” Antony Gough, National Lead & Principal Sustainability Consultant at iiE

“Working with iiE has been incredibly rewarding. As the first membership organisation we partnered with, it’s been fantastic to see the impact grow at scale across its members through an open-access model.

One of the most enjoyable parts has been checking the leaderboard and seeing members encouraging each other, comparing progress, and creating a bit of friendly competition.

Behaviour change rarely happens in isolation – people are far more likely to take action when they can see others doing the same. iie’s Stickerbook has helped bring that to life in a simple, practical, and engaging way for everybody across its membership.” Simon Kelly, Co-Founder at Stickerbook

Recognising the value of Stickerbook through iiE

Over the past year, iiE members have used Stickerbook to help colleagues grow their sustainability knowledge. Using the platform’s leaderboard function, members can compete as individuals or as organisations, building momentum through shared progress.

Garston Vets developed a simple but effective approach to sustainability onboarding by curating a shortlist of 15 minute introductory Stickerbook videos for new starters. The initiative is now being integrated into staff inductions, helping make sustainability learning more accessible, manageable, and engaging from the outset.

Charity Bank is using Stickerbook to support flexible, self-paced learning that fits around busy schedules. The team values the short, focused stickers for making key topics quick to absorb and easy to complete, while shared team progress tracking builds momentum and a sense of achievement. Charity Bank also welcomed the breadth of content, particularly in areas like A.I. and social/impact investing.

To mark the 500-user milestone, here’s what other iiE members using the platform have to say:

British Veterinary Association

“The platform is easy to navigate, and collecting stickers is a fantastic way to keep everyone engaged, as is climbing the leaderboard! Earlier this year we rolled Stickerbook out to other members of BVA’s Green Group. Colleagues who have joined have all had positive things to say about it, with the layout and variety of topics regularly noted. Later this month we will be offering all BVA staff the chance to join the platform and we’re expecting even more colleagues to sign up and start learning and collecting stickers along the way.” – Darren Fahy, Facilities Manager at BVA

Gateshead College

“Stickerbook has been a fantastic tool for sustainability engagement, intuitive to use, full of credible, well-designed content, and brilliant at showing how interconnected environmental, social and economic issues are, while linking them to real-world contexts and industries. As a one-person team, it’s helped me reach far more colleagues across our sites than I could on my own. I genuinely enjoy using it and learn something new every day.” – Rachel Leech, Sustainability Lead at Gateshead College

Reaching 500 users marks another step in iiE’s and Stickerbook’s joint mission to make sustainability practical, engaging, and accessible for organisations of all sizes.
