Minster Veterinary Practice

The Small Animal Department of The Minster Veterinary Practice takes pride in looking after all pets in York and the surrounding area. We are all passionate about animals and know that your pet is an important member of the family. Our hospital at Salisbury Road is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and recognised as an ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinic, and we have six branch practices. We also provide a 24-hour emergency and critical care service through York Emergency Vets. We take pride in providing a compassionate, dedicated and high quality service to our clients. Many of our veterinary surgeons and nurses hold postgraduate qualifications and we strive to maintain high clinical standards. We offer CT scanning and laparoscopic surgery in addition to numerous on-site diagnostic facilities. We recognise that providing veterinary care is not without its environmental impact, and have undertaken the Investors in the Environment accreditation because we believe it is our duty of care toward our clients, staff and patients to operate as sustainably as possible.
