iiE Planting Day

Have community engagement as part of your CSR but running out of new ideas to implement it? Want to engage more with the local community and environment? Or simply looking to get out in the fresh air for a morning? Why not sign up for the first iiE Planting Day.

iiE are teaming up with Forest for Peterborough, an exciting PECT project, aiming to plant over 180,000 trees in and around the city and surrounding countryside by 2030. Their target is to plant one tree for every person in the city in order to improve tree coverage, improve our green spaces, and the quality of air we breathe.

This iiE Planting day would be a great opportunity for business volunteer days, building team spirit whilst improving the local community. They are fun, social events, meeting other like minded businesses. They are also great for getting involved at every stage of the process, learning new skills whilst meeting new people. Helping to create more green spaces in Peterborough will enable you and your team to enjoy the outdoors and feel a real sense of achievement as you see the benefit of your har work.

Please wear appropriate clothing  for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. All equipment will be supplied and no prior skills are required.
