Superloos at Barnsley Premier Leisure

Superloos at Barnsley Premier Leisure!

Barnsley Premier Leisure have recently installed and trialled two ‘Superloos’ (otherwise known as a Propel Air) at The Metrodome Complex, in the reception area high-use toilets. Each ‘Superloo’ uses 84% less water and 80% less energy significantly reducing their carbon footprint. Payback times once installed  vary with demand and usage, but in Barnsley (at around 80 flushes per day for each loo) the ROI is under two years.

You can find out more details, a full technical specifications and installation info at their website http://www.propelair.com/homepage/ where there is also a cost savings/payback time calculator.

Key Features!
Use 84% less water

Propel air uses only 1.5 litres per flush, a fraction compared to the UK average of 9 litres. Average flush volumes can be significantly higher than their cistern capacity due to double flushing, leakages and valves issues.

Use 80% less energy

Less energy is required for water and waste processing, meaning the toilet’s carbon footprint is reduced by an average 80%.

Reduce leakages

Water is delivered through a siphon for a leak proof operation.

The Propel air is a high-performance toilet and water- efficient solution, helping forward-thinking organisations save water, money and energy. Not only does the Propel Air save on utility but reduces maintenance costs it is also a hygenic solution ideal for commercial and health-care environments reducing aerosolised germs by 95%
