15/06/2022 (11.30am) Online

Virtual - Zoom

This 2-hour action-focused training aims to help you to establish or improve your organisation’s environmental management system (EMS). The session will support new starters to the Investors in the Environment programme, existing members in need of a refresher and those wanting to make improvements to their action plans.

Session objectives include identifying important environmental policy outcomes for your business and considering how to link these to specific actions to drive progress in your planning and performance.

Example action areas for discussion are:

  • Energy
  • Waste
  • Water
  • Other fuels
  • Paper
  • Greenhouse gas emissions
  • Greener products and procurement

Two short workshops will be included in this interactive training to help you to better understand your organisation’s environmental impacts, to develop initial plans to reduce them and idea sharing about how to engage your colleagues in the process. Attendees can expect to use their learning to make progress towards iiE accreditation.

This event will be hosted via Zoom, and attendees will also have the opportunity to learn from other iiE members during breakout sessions.

Register here for this members-only session.

Numbers have been restricted to 20. Email the iiE team with any questions or to be put on the waiting list: info@iie.uk.com

This session will be lead by iiE team members Camilla Sherwin and Emily Appleby.
