iiE Planting Day

We are excited to announce our second annual iiE planting day!  If your business is looking for ideas to support community engagement as part of your corporate social responsibility, this is a great opportunity to get your staff engaged and do something good for the local environment.

iiE are teaming up with Forest for Peterborough, an exciting project run by environmental charity PECT. The project aims to plant over 230,000 trees in and around Peterborough and surrounding countryside by 2030. Their target is to plant one tree for every person in the city in order to absorb carbon emissions, grow additional tree canopy cover, and improve air quality.

This iiE Planting day would be a great opportunity for taking up a business volunteer day, building team spirit and benefiting the local community. Corporate tree planting days are fun, social events that also give your business the opportunity to network with other businesses working towards sustainability through iiE accreditation. Helping to create more green spaces in Peterborough will enable you and your team to enjoy the outdoors and feel a real sense of achievement as you see the benefit of your hard work.
