Our new iiE Essentials is the perfect starting point for organisations at the beginning of their sustainability journey. Designed for small organisations, start-ups, it offers a taster of what iiE can do for your business and helps you take those first practical steps towards improvement.

If your organisation is already making progress, or you want a little extra support, you can upgrade to full iiE Accreditation to unlock even more benefits – including dedicated 1:1 support from our team, an annual audit and accreditation, entry into the iiE Awards, help with carbon footprint calculations (plus access to our carbon calculator), and exclusive tools like Stickerbook and Croner-i.

iiE Essentials

iiE Essentials takes the key elements of the full iiE membership package and our Green Champions training course and combines them into a simple, introductory package.

Through the iiE member portal, webinar programme, and training, you’ll gain the knowledge and tools to implement the essential components of an environmental management system.

Online Members Area

You’ll have access to an online portal designed to guide you step-by-step through the iiE Essentials content. Each area addresses a key topic, such as creating an Environmental Policy or Sustainability Action Plan, and is explained through videos and member-only resources and tools, including template documents.

The Members Area allows you to work through each step at your own pace and at times that suit you.

iiE Green Champions Course

Included with your iiE Essentials membership, the iiE Green Champion Course gives you the key knowledge and confidence to lead your organisation’s sustainability journey.

This engaging, self-taught, online course makes it easy to take action – with step-by-step modules, practical templates and real-world tools to help you cut carbon, reduce waste, and engage your team.
