We are a Nottingham-based business committed to creating high-quality unisex plant-based knitted garments and accessories.

Our high-end garments are exclusively manufactured in the UK and are fully-fashioned to ensure no yarn is wasted. As Oxfam said: “Throwaway fashion is putting increasing pressure on our planet and its people.” We believe in the power of slow fashion, using considerate and low impact production. We are stepping out of the conventional fast fashion rhythm and stepping into a growing market with a strong ethical basis. We care about our planet.

Animal welfare and sustainability are key brand values. The sole use of plastic-free, plant-based, vegan yarns, means that Lalla Wandavi jumpers and scarves are cruelty-free and do not shed plastic microfibres into the environment each time they’re washed. Yarns used in the collection are derived from bamboo, linen and organic cotton.

Our garments are designed to be unisex, we see ourselves as a “gender-free” brand. Given the geometric motives of our knitwear detailing, the garments flow naturally on the body, regardless of gender. We design garments for the individual and we want to give the individual the strength to express themselves, through their own sense of style and their sensibility towards the environment. These are key values of the Lalla Wandavi brand.

Our garments are designed to last, these aren’t items of clothing to be worn once and discarded, these are garments to keep for a lifetime, to share memories with. Our Vegan Yarn collection is inspired by bird’s wings and feather textures, particularly by the beauty of starlings, and the iridescent geometric patterns on their chest and wings.
