Jack Drum Arts
CrookJack Drum Arts is an established social enterprise providing creative opportunities for the communities of County Durham with a focus on the ‘left behind’ neighbourhoods of South West Durham. Our mission is to increase access to quality arts and cultural experiences for people of all ages and abilities, particularly those who are disadvantaged and face barriers to participation. We do this through the delivery of an engaging and inspiring programme of workshops, projects and masterclasses alongside the production of outdoor events, participatory experiences, processions and parades. We work across a wide range of artforms including music, theatre, dance and carnival arts, promoting self-expression, improved wellbeing supporting individuals to make a positive contribution to community cohesion and civic pride.
