Working towards Bronze

The Renewal Trust

Nottingham

Nottingham is leading the charge against climate change with its ambition to become carbon neutral by 2028, and we are proud to be a part of that goal through our green pledges and our work with IiE.

The Renewal Trust is a charity that nurtures happier, healthier and more connected local communities. We work together sharing knowledge and expertise, and building relationships with Nottingham communities in St Ann’s, Sneinton, Mapperley and beyond. We explore opportunities and unlock potential through employability, wellbeing, places and spaces, community activities and grants.

We offer affordable and accessible activities for children, young people, and families. From yoga to skateboarding, Mini Movers and holiday clubs to family learning and Feel Good. We provide job clubs, one to one support, job searching, digital access, training and residents grants to help people develop their skills and confidence to improve their employability. Our community venues include The Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre and The Sycamore Millennium Centre and Cherry Lodge.

The Renewal Trust includes two commercial trading arms – Hungerhill Trading and St Ann’s Allotments. Hungerhill Trading is a sustainable, innovative, and trusted provider of space and support to our communities. St Ann’s Allotments is a grade two* listed site supporting over 600 tenants across 75 acres.

All profits from our trading activities are reinvested to support The Renewal Trust to deliver our charitable objectives.
