Vetoquinol UK limited is an affiliate of Vetoquinol, the eighth largest animal health pharmaceutical company in the world which specialises in producing animal medicines and healthcare solutions. Our commitment to the environment has resulted in the Managing Director for the UK and Ireland business creating a Sustainability growth initiative, comprising of a team of employees (the ‘Green Team’) working collaboratively to drive sustainability initiatives within Vetoquinol UK and Ireland. For us, our Bronze accreditation is not simply a box-ticking exercise. We are encouraging our employees to change and challenge every day so that we are truly living it. Our key areas of focus have been: • Our Motor Fleet fuel usage/CO2 emissions. In 2021 we were awarded the ‘Sustainable Transport Champion 2021’ as a result of our efforts • Our paper use, both internal printing and externally produced promotional and marketing materials • Our Office electricity consumption • Our volume of waste sent to landfill- with a drive to increase our recycling capabilities • Social projects involved with sustainability- supporting a University student wellbeing garden with pollinator friendly plants
