Waterside Campus built in 2018 was designed as a smart building and houses it’s own biomass boiler, along with it’s satellite sites that have solar panels, heat pumps and living roofs.
With sustainability as one of it’s core values, UON is proud to maintain it’s Green Level Accreditation with Investors in the Environment for over 10 years, as well as receiving the Decade of Green Award in 2025.
