Seadown Veterinary Services

Seadown veterinary services is independently owned by five directors, all of whom are practicing vets. It was established in 1923 and occupies a unique place in the New Forest community. We have a long, established and trusted history, having proudly served the people, pets and animals of the New Forest area for almost 100 years. It is a very busy mixed practice dedicated to caring for all animals as if they were our own – everything from domestic pets and exotics, to native ponies and competition horses, to New Forest farm animals and the indigenous wildlife. We have become increasingly aware of the impact our business is having on the environment and have started to take steps to improve on this. For example we have reduced our paper use and replaced disposable hats and gowns with reusable alternatives. However given the climate emergency we are currently facing, we think it’s important that we really focus on this issue and are excited to be working with Investors in the Environment to help us make much greater progress in this area.
