DurhamOASES aims to create a more sustainable world where all children can thrive, by ensuring that children and young people have access to impactful outdoor learning experiences and good quality global sustainability education.
Through its work OASES seeks to instil an appreciation of nature and a love of the planet. We educate about issues like climate change, natural resource depletion, the ecological crisis and plastic pollution to ensure that children and young people understand the implications of their ‘everyday’ choices in order to enable a more sustainable future for all. We facilitate discussion and action to combat eco and climate anxiety.
