Lida Vets
New MarketLida Vets was formed in 1991 by husband and wife Josh and Liz Lida. Initially, there were two rooms in what was then Greenwood Ellis and Partners at 166 High Street. In 1992 a little building next door became available and luckily, we were able to secure it. It was a quaint old building that saw at least two centuries of old Newmarket around it. Originally, where the car parks are, there were small houses and it served as a workshop and then an Electricity Board station. Later it became a base for an oil research firm, and it was then that we had the building gutted and refitted as a modern veterinary practice. We swiftly moved into our present premises and set out to be an independent practice dedicated purely to small animals. Over the years we have grown and developed our services. The extension and renovation of reception took place in December 2015. We joined Linnaeus Group in October 2018 with the retirement of Josh Lida.
