Zero Waste Week Litter Pick

As part of the national ‘Zero Waste Week Challenge’, can your organisation go the extra mile by getting involved with a litter pick to clean up the local environment in Peterborough?

Zero Waste Week runs from Monday 2nd – Friday 6th September 2019 and Investors in the Environment (iiE) is calling for local organisations to get involved!

The litter pick will be held on Thursday 5th September, from 2pm-4pm. Get involved to fulfil Corporate Social Responsibility requirements, engage with staff, and to improve the local environment for residents and wildlife.

Zero Waste Week is a fantastic way to involve staff in thinking up creative ways to take simple steps towards making long-lasting behaviour changes. You don’t have to go completely Zero Waste; the idea is simply to try and think about your environmental actions and reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill.

Participants are encouraged to share photographs of their green pledges and activities on social media, tagging in @iiEUK and using the hashtag #ZeroWasteWeek. If you’re a member business wanting to take part in the week and would like additional support, please email info@iie.uk.com.
