What is Positive Psychology? How can we apply it to enabling pro-environmental behaviour change in businesses?

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals and organisations to thrive, believing that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives and to cultivate what is best within themselves – to move beyond surviving to flourishing.

Join this online event to hear from Dr Jan Maskell, who manages Investors in the Environment (iiE) in the North West. Jan is a Registered Occupational Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience of working with public, private and not-for-profit organisations with a focus on management and leadership development. She applies her knowledge and experience of positive psychology, has a passion for learning, and promotes the role of psychology in behaviour change at a personal and organisational level.

Her main concerns are creating personal and organisational resilience, recognising the need to mitigate the impact of climate change and our impact on the environment. Gain some top tips for your team to encourage behaviour change in sustainability.

Organisations and individuals attending this event will gain a better understanding of how to encourage team behaviour change around embracing sustainable initiatives, and there will be some top tips on running more impactful behaviour change campaigns and programmes for 2021 and beyond.
