20201110 (10am-12pm)

Join us for this 2-hour action-focussed training to support starting or making improvements to your environmental management system (EMS). The session will support new starters to the Investors in the Environment approach to environmental management, existing members in need of a refresher, and those wanting to make improvements to their action plans.

Objectives of this session include identifying important environmental policy outcomes for your business and how to link these to specific actions to drive progress in your planning and performance. Example action areas for discussion are:

  • Energy
  • Waste
  • Water
  • Other fuels
  • Paper
  • Greenhouse gas emissions
  • Greener products and procurement

Two short workshops will be included in this interactive training to help you understand your environmental impacts better and generate ideas to reduce your impacts and engage your team in the process. Attendees can expect to use their learning to further their organisational progress towards iiE accreditation.

This event will be hosted via Zoom, and attendees will also have the opportunity to learn from each other during breakout sessions with other iiE members.
