FTG Ltd

FTG Ltd has been established for over 35 years. We are a Cheshunt based but UK wide provider of all aspects of Smoke Ventilation. We supply, install, commission and maintain all and any smoke vent/AOV systems. FTG currently employees 20 people with 17 engineers and 3 office staff. FTG is looking to grow substantially over the next 5/10 years and has a clear strategy to achieve this. As part of this development and because of a real concern about our environment and our own impact upon it, we have now decided to put a clear sustainability plan in action so that we have real evidence to support our goal.

We have been doing some positive things for many years both domestically and commercially e.g. removing waste from all sites we attend and properly disposing of or recycling the same. We also recycle in our personal lives, grow our own and compost everything that can be composted. We use manure from local stables for our garden and we have sowed a wildflower meadow outside the house. The increase in insects in this tiny space in the short time that we have planted it is testament to what a little change can do in a short space in time and we want to bring this to the business to.
