Zero Waste Week 2018

 Zero Waste Week –  3-7th  September 2018

Zero Waste Week is all about raising awareness of how much waste we generate whilst using the campaign to focus on reducing it – it’s free to take part in and fun!  Taking part in ZWW is a great way to engage your staff in reducing the impact of waste on the environment.

Whether you choose to tape office bins shut for a week, get a compost bin, not use your office printers for one day, or eat home-cooked food to reduce packaging, there are plenty of ways to get involved!

One of our Green members, Athene Communications, have designed a Zero Waste Week Scorecard to use as an engagement tool. Please feel free to download and use within your organisation. You can even share the progress of your team members on social media or make it into a competition.

There are plenty more resources and ideas available on the Zero Waste Week website to get you thinking and making changes. One great resource is the waste audit which will help to embed the changes long term.
