Further to the email sent to all iiE members on 31st March 2025, please find below more details of the changes and enhancements being made to iiE membership packages from 1st April 2025

New Membership Prices
For New Members (Joining from 1st April 2025)
From 1st April 2025, all new iiE members will be assigned to one of four membership levels—Small, Medium, Large, or Enterprise (see table below)—with updated membership pricing in place.
For Existing Members (Joined Before 31st March 2025)
Legacy Membership Status
If you’re an iiE member as of 31st March 2025, you’ll be given legacy membership status, meaning there will be no increase in membership fees until 1st July 2025.
Membership Renewal & Price Adjustments
Your current membership price is locked in, and when you renew, a 10% increase will be applied.
Please note: Members due to renew before the 31st July 2025 will pay the same membership fee as they currently do and the 10% increase will be applied when they renew in 2026.
Changes Based on Membership Levels
A small number of members will see changes due to the updated membership levels:
- Some will see a reduction in fees if they move into a lower price band.
- If your organisation would typically move into a higher price band based on employee numbers, your fee will only increase by 10% at renewal, with no additional jump in cost.

Summary of Changes
- We are broadly increasing membership prices by 10% across the various membership levels.
- We have introduced a new membership band to sit between the old ‘advanced’ and ‘enterprise’ levels.
- The membership level will now be solely based on the number of full-time employees a member has.
- A 20% discount has been introduced for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations (VCSEs) as well as registered charities.
iiE Learning Management System and Green Champions Training
Over the past year, we’ve seen more and more iiE members expanding their sustainability teams, with additional staff getting involved in delivering their sustainability goals. As a result, we’ve had an increasing number of requests for extra access to our online Learning Management System (LMS) and additional seats on our Green Champions training.
To support this growing demand, we’re increasing access to both the LMS and Green Champions course—details can be found in the table below.
Members are reminded that access to the GC course resets each year upon membership renewal.

Additional access to the LMS will be granted in exceptional circumstances where there is a strong case to do so.
Additional access to the Green Champion training is available at the member price and for 2025 we will be offering a ‘buy 3, get 4th free’ offer to iiE members.
iiE Training Courses
When we launched the IEMA-accredited iiE Training Centre, we set our course prices well below market rates to encourage take-up and establish ourselves as a go-to provider for sustainability training.
Now, 18 months on, we’ve adjusted our pricing to bring it more in line with market rates—while still keeping it among the most competitive in the UK!
To make sure our training remains accessible and affordable for our members, we’ve also increased the iiE member discount from 20% to 25%.

The iiE Stickerbook Platform (NEW for 25/26)
We kicked off the soft launch of the iiE Stickerbook platform in January and February, giving Green Champions early access to explore and engage with it.
From 1st April, every iiE member organisation will have enhanced access to Stickerbook as part of their membership package! The number of licences included will depend on your membership level.
Want to roll out Stickerbook to more of your team? Additional licences can be purchased at the exclusive iiE member rate of £10 per licence per year.
